Dan Nelson - Leadership Group
Dan has 16 years of experience (10 years as a licensed Architect) and as a LEED accredited professional. His passion is in the "nuts & bolts" of architecture as well as managing the design process.
With Tiscareno Associates, Dan serves as Project Architect and Project Manager on a variety of projects. Communication and collaboration comes naturally to Dan, working well with all members involved in the design process. With that, he leads each project through jurisdiction design review, code related permitting, and consultant team coordination to ensure that projects meet schedule and stay on budget. He has a proven record in working with consultants and clients to fashion cost effective yet visually interesting projects.
Outside of this firm, Dan offers his time and knowledge to the ACE (Architecture, Construction and Engineering) mentoring program. He serves on the Board of Directors as Vice President and is responsible for mentor training and recruitment.
Dan holds a Master's of Architecture degree from the University of California, Los Angles and a Bachelor's degree of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
