Beacon crossing

Beacon Crossing is a seven-story, 103-unit, 63,000 SF apartment building located in the heart of the Beacon Hill commercial district. This mixed-use project includes 4,600 square feet of restaurant/retail space, a top-floor lounge, and extensive roof decks and terraces. Tiscareno Associates was challenged to take the already entitled design of Beacon Crossing and increase its height to take advantage of new zoning allowances, without restarting the MUP or permitting process. Our design team was also asked to increase the marketability of the apartment units and retail spaces, assist the owner with value engineering, and work closely with the general contractor to enhance constructability—all within an aggressive schedule that compressed the Schematic-to-GMP stage into five months.
