Partner & Vice President
Having served as Principal in multiple firms over 20-plus years in architecture and urban design, Scott Glazebrook brings seasoned leadership and diverse experience to Tiscareno Associates. He has worked on numerous project types including master planning, commercial, libraries, churches, schools, and medical facilities, but his deepest expertise lies in creating livable multifamily communities (condominiums, apartments, affordable housing), from concept through completion. Most recently Scott served as conceptual design lead and project manager for Modera Redmond, a multi-family project with a complex design review process; and Redmond Square, a 600-unit high-visibility mixed-use residential project whose large size required nimble problem-solving. These projects showcased Scott’s skill at both the aesthetics of design and the complexities of managing and reconciling multiple different voices to deliver on client goals.
Scott received his Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences with emphases in Urban Geography, City Planning, and Environmental Design from San Diego State University, and his Master of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin. He also spent several years as a Senior Planner for Downtown San Diego overseeing entitlement applications for a variety of project types, taught building environmental systems at Woodbury University for seven years, and has been a design critic at Woodbury University and New School of Architecture & Design. He has volunteered as a community representative on several planning committees and councils, and was appointed to serve on a committee of city-wide importance by the Mayor of San Diego. Scott is a member of the American Institute of Architects and Urban Land Institute, and is LEED AP.
