Our founder served four years on the club's Long Range Planning Committee, consulting on its new driving range and practice facility. As liaison to the project architect, he coordinated with the board and stakeholders to align goals and deliverables. He developed design options, including schemes that echoed the clubhouse's character, and helped shape the facility's layout, circulation and member experience.
The 3,000 SF facility sits to the right of the driving range. Its three swing bays are fitted with TrackMan for instruction, club fitting and winter play, alongside a putting green, restroom, and shaft and fitting walls. An overhang lets players hit in front of the bays when the doors are closed, and an adjoining cart barn adds electric cart charging and parking.
In the finalized concept, the bays drew 4,000 bookings and brought a sought-after teaching professional to the club, giving it one of the region's most advanced practice facilities. The project advanced the club's practice experience, year-round play and member appeal.
