Construction Underway at Milano Apartments: A New Creekside Community in Issaquah

Milano Townhomes and Apartments and Tiscareno Architects are pleased to announce that construction is now underway on Milano Apartments, a new four-story, 65-unit apartment building at 2300 Newport Way NW. Set along Schneider Creek, the community pairs modern residential design with a 2,400-square-foot rooftop amenity level featuring a fitness facility, a social and conference room, and an outdoor deck overlooking the creek. There are two levels of below-grade parking with a total of 53 stalls.

Milano Apartments has been part of the Tiscareno story for nearly a decade. Our team first studied this site in 2016, well before it came to market, helping shape the early vision for what the property could become. In 2024, Tiscareno took over as the project's Architect of Record, taking the helm to carry that vision through construction and bring Milano Apartments to reality on the 1.33-acre site along Schneider Creek.

Designed to achieve LEED Certified for New Construction under LEED v4, Milano Apartments reflects Tiscareno's commitment to sustainable, site-sensitive design. With Schneider Creek running along the property's eastern edge, thoughtful measures protect the surrounding environment, including a maintained 100-foot wetland buffer, retention of existing trees, and landscaping guided by the project's Landscape Mitigation Plan.

As construction advances, Milano Apartments is set to bring thoughtful, sustainable multifamily living to one of Issaquah's most scenic corridors.
