Now Breaking Ground: Sophisticated Luxury Condos to Alki Waterfront

Updated: Jun 25, 2020

Now breaking ground in the heart of West Seattle is Infinity Shore Club Residences, a luxury condominium project developed by Vibrant Cities and designed by Seattle architect Tiscareno Asso-ciates. Infinity Shore Club is the largest condo project planned for West Seattle in 2020 and will fill a gap in residential offerings at Alki Beach, a neighborhood notably low on waterfront condos.

This 40-unit condo project, with sweeping views of Elliott Bay and the Seattle Skyline, brings understated elegance and sophistication to the Alki waterfront. The six-story building, with over 102,000 square feet, will include numerous luxury amenities including a soaring two-story lobby entrance, an infinity pool with an integrated hot tub, and greenspace at the roof deck. Large balconies with moveable walls and glass railings echo the neighborhood’s horizontal lines while taking advantage of the natural setting.

The understated elegance of this waterfront condominium finely balances high expectations from the community and challenging geographical constraints. Members of the community, wanting to preserve the area’s feel and walkability, requested setbacks that were considerably deeper than required by code. The narrow, rectangular lot is pressed between a steep hillside at the back and the shoreline curve of Alki Avenue at the front, which affected parking and footprint options.

The design follows the shoreline’s contour by splaying into two wings united by a glassed-in courtyard. The courtyard has a sun deck, an infinity pool, and bay views for residents, and presents a cascading water-wall at street level for pedestrians to enjoy. The visual effect of “two buildings in one” reduces the massing while also allowing for two elevator cores for better circulation and resident privacy. The building’s horizontal lines echo those of its neighbors, while expansive balconies, metal cladding, and lots of glass create a light and sophisticated ambiance. Creative layout of the roof deck provides both privately owned and communal areas with outdoor kitchens, fire pits, greenspaces, and pathways.

Inside, a soaring two-story entry and a variety of well-planned units blend with warm woods, stone tile, and ample windows to create a residential resort aesthetic. Two levels of below-grade parking (which itself required extensive structural and geotechnical coordination) serve residents’ needs without compromising the exterior appeal.

Infinity Shore Club’s many water features, together with the private balconies and community roof-top, lend this coming Alki property true indoor/outdoor livability, amidst a serene refinement that will feel both essentially Seattle and a world away.

“The sleepy Seattle that I’ve grown up in since 1982 is now a sleepless, fast-growing city that is home to global giants like Amazon, Microsoft and thousands of other tech and non-tech companies.” said James Wong, CEO of Vibrant Cities. “Infinity Shore Club is a one of a kind waterfront project that will further elevate Seattle’s reputation as a world class city.”

Co-Founder and CFO Ming Fung continues: “Having experienced world class cities like Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Vancouver, we are honored to bring Infinity’s unmatched luxury and waterfront living to Seattle.”

Features include:

  • Multiple unit types (one-two-three-bedrooms; two-story units; loft style; penthouses)

  • Rooftop deck with extensive greenscape, outdoor kitchens, private terraces, and gas firepits, dog wash room, car wash station, fitness room, and conference room

  • A central court with an infinity swimming pook and 1,600 square-foot grand lounge
