Staff Highlight: Liliane Sabra

Liliane Sabra brings nearly two decades as an architect, a strong multicultural perspective, and a collaborative leadership style to Tiscareno Associates. She has worked across project types gaining deepest experience in healthcare and transit projects, including Link Light Rail stations in Bellevue and Lynnwood. Liliane’s specialty is exterior envelope design—refined in projects like the Washington State Convention Center expansion and the large, high-visibility mixed-use Redmond Square—which makes good use of her skills integrating the complexities of multiple systems, disciplines, and team members. Interpersonally, Liliane’s ability to tap the highest capacities of each team member brings optimal performance to any project she leads.

Liliane received her B.A. in Art History and her M.A. in Architecture from the University of Washington. To broaden her architectural skills into the realm of strategic leadership management Liliane is additionally earning an M.B.A., also from the University of Washington. Born in Saudi, Arabia and raised in Brazil by Lebanese-Brazilian parents, Liliane speaks Portuguese and Arabic in addition to her first language of English. These multicultural roots lay the foundation for Liliane’s greatest passion as an architect: Using design as an agent to effect positive cultural change.
